IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TERRITORIAL PLAN FOR THE PREVENTION OF NON-COMMUNICABLE DISEASES FOR THE YEARS 2024–2027 IN CAUSENI DISTRICT

Abstract

Objectives. To assess the implementation of the Territorial Action Plan for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases (NCD) in Căușeni District during 2024–2025.

Materials and methods. A descriptive analysis was performed using public policy documents, the Territorial Plan approved in 2024, monitoring reports, and territorial statistical data on noncommunicable diseases and prevention activities.

Results. The Territorial Plan comprises three general objectives and 38 actions. During the assessed period, activities included intersectoral collaboration, updating the district health profile, population education and information, community health-promotion events, monitoring of essential NCD interventions, and screening activities. The overall implementation level was 71%, calculated as the proportion of completed actions out of the 38 actions planned.

Conclusions. Implementation of the Territorial Plan supported multisectoral interventions for NCD prevention and control at district level, with an overall implementation level of 71% during the assessed period.
